Chimney Sweeps
Having your chimney swept is one of the fundamental steps in ensuring the safety of your wood-burning appliances. A visual evaluation of the chimney deposits, visible chimney components and stove or fireplace will allow us to determine if the appliance is operating as intended and make recommendations. Using rotary brushes and HEPA filtration during the sweep results in a clean chimney and maintains the air quality in your home.
WETT Inspections
WETT Certified Inspections are conducted to verify that wood-burning appliances have been installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and are compliant with relevant codes. At the end of the inspection, an inspection report is provided that lists any non-compliant conditions. There are three levels of inspections, ranging from visual to invasive. Most often, visual inspections are sufficient. Visual inspections may identify situations that would warrant Technical or Invasive inspections.
Maintenance and Repair
If a visual or WETT inspection identifies conditions requiring repairs or changes, we can provide you with cost-effective solutions to remedy the condition and bring the appliance and installation up to code. Some situations that may warrant preventative maintenance are evidence of crumbling brick or mortar on masonry chimneys, missing or deteriorated caulking on factory chimneys, corroded or damaged chase caps, and bats, birds or other foreign material inside the chimney.
System Performance and Design
Have a WETT Technician identify the possible causes of poor system performance and offer solutions. If you are considering installing a new wood-burning appliance or would like to replace an existing appliance, we can provide you with cost-effective solutions. Good system design will help identify the correct components required for a safe, well-performing system. We also decommission or convert existing stoves or fireplaces if you no longer wish to have a wood-burning appliance.

Our installation services cover wood stoves, fireplaces, inserts, and chimneys. For existing fireplaces and stoves, we offer hearth pads, extensions, and finishing and refinishing services.
