WETT Inspection for Chimneys Stoves and Fireplaces
A System Inspection Technical Evaluation will assess the condition of the wood stove, fireplace, and venting, along with their suitability for use. SITE determines whether the stove, fireplace, and venting are suitable and were installed correctly. The WETT inspection report will document the findings and recommend the steps required to address any issues noted.

System Design
The first step in designing a new solid-fuel-burning system is to identify the appliance’s intended purpose. Secondly, inspecting the building envelope will allow a recommendation on which units to install and which are most suitable for the intended use. The appropriate venting components can then be specified. Other factors, such as hearth dimensions, mantle projections, chimney enclosures, and the types of finishes allowed, can all be planned for. A Certified System Advisor is familiar with best design practices and has the experience required to plan for all steps of the installation.
